I bloody love it. All my adult life, I've run my own businesses, from sandwich round, when the boys were little, to cleaning company (as an army wife I was particularly good at this), courses to get army wives back to work (I'm a Lucy Clayton gal, so thought I'd pass on my skills), *interesting fact, Lucy Clayton was run by Joanna Lumley's mother, a catering business (I did a cordon bleu cookery course - I do a LOT of courses..., interiors business, when my daughter was little, (I'm obssessed with interiors), and latterly a high end event hire company, which I sold just before Covid. Phew. I literally can't stop thinking of ideas and how to bring them to market. Alongside these various endeavours, I have renovated, knocked down, rebuilt and remodelled around 20 properties. In the middle of it all, I had a full time job as a marketing manager in the City. You may have gathered by now, I have ADHD.
Mother of three and granny of three perfect little cherubs.

3 years ago, I started importing my own version of shibori bags. I discovered these genius little devils in Japan 6 years ago. They say, don't reinvent the wheel, just make it better....so I did. Firstly choosing new colours and designs (from stock graphics) and making my own wrappers and labels at home, then moving on to bespoke designs, sexy new labels, INCREDIBLE packaging (designed by my creative genius daughter) and taking the business up a notch - as a wholesaler. At 62, I think I've finally really, really made it. The business is growing at a phenomenal rate. New product lines are being launched this year. I'm OBSESSED WITH 12 Months to $1 Million by Ryan Daniel Moran. I have a business, but to have a BRAND, I need more products to sell to the same people. Take a look, he's so inspiring https://www.capitalism.com/podcast/12-months-to-1-million-its-easier-than-ever/
